I Can Try Again
Told in English, Hindi, Bengali, Telugu, Tamil, Spanish, French, Arabic, Mandarin Chinese.
A little one was building a tower.
One block. Two blocks. Three blocks.
CRASH!
Oh no! The tower fell down.
Did the little one cry? Just a little bit. And then the little one said:
I can try again!
One block. Two blocks. Three blocks. Four blocks!
CRASH!
Down it went again.
Was the little one cross? Just a bit. And then:
I can try again!
One block. Two. Three. Four. Five. Careful now... six!
Wobble. Wobble.
CRASH!
Hmm. That's hard, isn't it?
But the little one took a big breath, and said it one more time:
I can try again!
One block. Two blocks. Three. Four. Five. Six. And very, very slowly... SEVEN!
And it stayed up!
The tallest tower in the whole world!
Did it stay up the first time? No.
Or the second time? No.
Or the third? No!
But the little one kept saying the magic words. Can you say them?
I can try again!
